Amusement park "Dreamwood" in Crimea

The AIRA company took part in development, production and installation of constuctions for an attraction in the family theme-park "DREAMWOOD" in the sanitary resort complex "MRIYA RESORT&SPA" near the city of Yalta, the Republic of Crimea.

The official opening of the park was attended by the President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sberbank, German Gref, who solemnly handed the key to citizens, and noted the importance of such projects in the socio-economic development of the region. In addition to the entertainment program, all children were given free cotton candy, ice cream, and juices during the celebration.

In the process of work, the AIRA company used a high-tech material - fiberglass, which is also used in the construction of aircrafts and space facilities. Now, with the help of the production facilities of the AIRA Technopark in St. Petersburg, it is possible to manufacture a large amount of high-tech elements made of fiberglass.

It is worth noting that the fiberglass material is superior in strength-to-weight ratio of steel, and it has biological resistance and low thermal conductivity. It is perfectly easy to process and decorate – this allowed the company to recreate the realistic texture of the petals of dandelions and bell-flowers, as well as volume and tortuosity of vines, and organically fit all the elements of structures in the overall landscape of the territory.

AIRA's specialists tried to make sure that the surrounding nature and technology converge and complement each other. For example, high-tech designs made of polyurethane and a metal frame of the landing station and a stand with the rules of use of the air road "Dan De Lyon" were decorated with delicate and light dandelions made of fiberglass on a steel frame. A LED design in the form of bell-flowers, made of plastic with thermoforming, illuminates the road at night.

The design in the form of "vines" is particularly noteworthy, its texture is so realistic that you can see each vein. The structure itself is made of fiberglass, planted on the frame with steel fasteners and hardware, and it is not just a decor but also a stable supporting element of the amusement ride.

The time between the idea and the final implementation is only three months. All elements were designed and manufactured in our own innovative production in St. Petersburg and then delivered by ferry to the territory of the amusement park for further installation. Many years of experience, over 3,000 successfully implemented projects, the synergy of high-tech production and the latest smart-technologies allow AIRA to implement the most complex projects with individual designs on the turn-key basis: from the idea to the installation with mandatory warranty service.
